Blake Swaidner
Screenwriter & Director
Blake Swaidner is a writer-director and founder of Mercurial Films, based in Austin, TX. His works, including System (2024) and The Shape I Followed (2025), explore character-driven, psychologically charged stories, often drawing from literature and philosophy, and use form and performance to bring the viewer close to a character's point of view. His first feature screenplay Mind Flowers is in development, along with his third short film The Conditions of Being Seen.
