Director's Statement
"For The Shape I Followed, my goal was to make a film that doesn't describe dissociation but transports the viewer into a strange, distant world the way dissociation itself does. Every formal choice—dreamlike storytelling, hypnotic sound design, masked figure, and doubled apparition—exists to thin the line between the man and the presence he follows, between the part of the self that watches and the part that doesn't recognize itself."
